A heartful composition for the Lord Sree Narasimha Moorthy by Divya- Singer Nishant -Music composition and Umadevi- lyrics !

A peek into how this song came about !!
Divya, is a native of Mulagunnathukavu, Thrissur. As a child, she learned classical music from the Chinmaya Kalamandhir and from Smt. Vimala.B.Varma. A passionate music lover, she practices her music regularly, and posts her songs on Facebook, Smule and other media. She lives with family in Perumpilly, Ernakulam. Perumpilly is home to one of the ancient and rarest temples, where the deity is Lord Sree Narasimha Moorthy. A devotee of Perumpilly Lord Sree Narasimha Moorthy noticed Divya's songs and requested her to sing a song in praise of the Lord. When her search for a suitable composition did not produce satisfactory results, she approached her childhood friend, Umadevi, who resides in the USA, to write her a song in praise of Lord Sree Narasimha Moorthy. Uma, an avid reader and a music buff, wrote a lyric tinged in Bhakt hi. Divya then asked her friend Nishant.T.P, who teaches music in SIFAS, Singapore, to compose music for this lyric. Nishant composed a wonderful gem that starts with Devagandhari and then quickly transitions to Arabhi raga. This song is the result of their collaboration and hard work.
