Light Up Your Life Run

Light Up your Life Run took place on Saturday, 3 Oct 2015. It was the biggest SOSD event to date - the first joint fundraising event between an animal and human charity (Assisi Hospice). The haze threatened to prevent the event from event happening, however, the heavens smiled on us, and the skies cleared dramatically for the event - with the PSI dropping from over 240 to 80!

We are so heartened that so many of you turned up despite the haze. Many of you came up to us that night, telling us that you decided to come because you did not want to see 6 months of hard work by the volunteers go to waste. It was really humbling, and touching, to see the support that you gave us!

Whether or not you managed to come down, we deeply appreciate your support for the event... Once again, thank you so much!
And Thank you all volunteers for your tremendous effort, and for a beautiful, successful and memorable event!

SOSD Singapore is made up of volunteers who, besides helping rescue dogs and run the society, have their day jobs.. and other hidden talents as well!

We are touched and heartened by the positive responses of the run participants, despite the haze. Volunteers have spent 6 months preparing for the event, and many came up to tell us yesterday that they decided to come to show their support, despite the climbing PSI, because they knew the heavens would smile on us.

True enough, the haze miraculously cleared at East Coast Park just before the run, granting us clear skies and a beautiful, memorable event for all!
