During this period, we have been deeply touched by the care, sincere condolences, and generous support extended by leaders, industry associations, colleagues from the billiards community in China and around the world, business partners, clients, relatives, friends, and members of the public. On behalf of the family, we extend our most heartfelt gratitude.

We sincerely thank everyone who came to pay their respects and bid Mr. Ng farewell; who sent condolence wreaths, floral baskets, tributes, condolence contributions, and gifts of support; and who expressed their sympathy and care through calls, messages, and many other thoughtful gestures. Your kindness and friendship have brought great warmth and comfort to our family during this time of grief.

As funeral arrangements required our full attention, we may not have been able to thank each person individually. We respectfully ask for your understanding. We will always remember the love and respect shown for Mr. Jeffrey Ng Ah Leck, and the care and support extended to our family.

Your kind words and recognition of his lifelong dedication to cue sports in Asia mean a great deal to us during this difficult time. We sincerely appreciate the support, respect, and friendship that ACBS has shown him and our family throughout the years. His legacy will continue through Wiraka and the generations to come.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mr. Jeffrey Ng Ah Leck (黄亚烈), co-founder of Wiraka Pte. Ltd., Chairman of Riley Wiraka Sports Equipment Co., Ltd., former Member of the Chinese Billiards and Snooker Association, Honorary President of the Guangdong Billiards Association, President of the Foshan Billiards Association, and former Vice President of the Malaysia Snooker & Billiards Federation (MSBF).

Mr. Ng passed away peacefully in Malaysia in the early hours of 14 September 2026, at the age of 68.

Together with his beloved wife, Ms. Daphne Leong, Mr. Ng founded Wiraka Pte. Ltd. in Singapore in December 1980. What began as a modest enterprise grew into a respected international billiards brand serving clubs, players, academies, federations, and professional events across Singapore, Malaysia, China, and other parts of the world.

Mr. Ng is survived by Ms. Daphne Leong, their three daughters, and two grandchildren. Ms. Daphne Leong and their daughter, Ms. Jannies Ng, will continue to lead and oversee the Wiraka business, carrying forward Mr. Ng’s vision, values, and lifelong dedication to the development of cue sports.

Under his leadership, Wiraka expanded into Malaysia in 1984 and into China in the 1990s. He helped establish early professional billiards clubs in Shanghai and Foshan and, in 1996, founded Foshan Nanhai Riley Wiraka Sports Equipment Co., Ltd., contributing to the development of professional billiards-table manufacturing and equipment supply in China.

Mr. Ng was a dedicated supporter of international cue sports. He contributed to and supported competitions including the Asian Games, World Games, Southeast Asian Games, IBSF events, ACBS Asian championships, EBSA events, China’s national championships, the China Snooker Tour, the National Cities League, and the Asian Cities League.

He also cared deeply about youth development. Through the CBSA Wiraka Billiards Training Base in Foshan, established in 2014, he supported the early development of players including Wu Yize, Fan Zhengyi, Chang Bingyu, and Si Jiahui.

Mr. Ng’s vision, integrity, and contribution to billiards in Singapore, Malaysia, China, and around the world will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude.
