Rathish Mani led the way with a fluent 30, giving the innings the strongest individual score and helping the Royals maintain momentum throughout their four skins.

Parthan Muralidharan chipped in with 3 wickets as their disciplined bowling left the Kings with few scoring opportunities and ensured the chase never gained any real momentum.
