The Aloha Sea Sports Centre Easter SUP Race 2023 is coming up on Saturday, 8 April 2023! The race will be open to all paddlers from beginners to veterans and even a kids category! Let's have fun at ECP and enjoy some paddlin’🌺🤙🏼

🐣Race Categories:
-500 m (Sprint) Open Men & Women
-8.0 km (Distance) Open Men & Women
-4.0 km (Mid-Distance) Open Men & Women
-500 m (12 years old and below)

🐣Schedule for SUP Races:
7:00am - Registration
8:00am - Race Briefing
8.30am - 500m Sprint
9.00am - 8km Distance & 4km Mid-Distance
10.30am - 500m Kids Fun Race
11.30am - Prize Presentation**
Followed by a small ‘get together’- drinks for Adults, games for Kids.

$30.00 Adults (Distance 4.0km OR 8.0km, AND/OR 500m Sprint)
$20.00 Kids, 12 years and under
$20.00 Flat for Rental Board (Limited boards available)

While SUP is still a young sport working hard to be officially recognised and supported by local governing bodies, we have these amazing athletes who constantly trained hard and fought through the odds to fly our flag proudly overseas. Way to go!

What an exciting few weeks it’s been!

Before catching up with the Dutchess from Team Yukon SUPventure Ladies Janneke & Ella - who are attempting the Yukon 1000 - it is maybe good to read again what went through the minds of the 2 Dutch guys Ike Frans and Bart de Zwart who completed their stint back in 2018. It's a great write up by non-other than Chris of SUP Racer. Yes we are familiar of this names but are we familiar of the Yukon 1000? The Dutchess are up for some real challenge. Ella Oesterholt and Janneke Smits, we wish you the best of luck!
