BACK UP YOUR PROGRESS!

Why is back training so important? 🧐

Most of us spend hours sitting at a desk, leading to poor posture, rounded shoulders, and weak back muscles.

Training your back is CRUCIAL—not just for aesthetics but also for improving posture, reducing injury risk, and boosting overall strength.

Here’s why you should prioritize back training:

✅ Better Posture – Strengthens postural muscles to counteract slouching.

✅ Stronger Pulling Power – Essential for lifting, carrying, and overall athleticism.

✅ Reduced Injury Risk – Supports the spine and shoulders, preventing imbalances.

TRYING TO LAND YOUR FIRST PULL UP? 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

Many struggle with pull-ups, but with the right progression, anyone can do them!

1️⃣ Start with Assisted Pull-Ups – Use a band or machine to build strength.

2️⃣ Negative Pull-Ups – Jump to the top position and lower yourself slowly.

3️⃣ Isometric Holds – Hold at the top of the pull-up for a few seconds.

4️⃣ Increase Back Strength – Incorporate rows, lat pulldowns, and scapular pull-ups.

5️⃣ Reduce Assistance & Attempt Full Reps – Gradually decrease band assistance until you can do a full pull-up!

For Women: Focus on grip strength, lat activation, and progressive overload with bands and negatives.

For Men: Build pulling endurance with volume and weighted progressions.
