Does this sound like you?
I genuinely thought I was just addicted to the gym.
Turns out my brain actually couldn’t function without it.
And honestly? Yours might be the same.
There’s a term for what we experience.
Psychologists call it somatic regulation. Basically — some of us, especially women who are constantly carrying so much, need to move our bodies to feel okay again. Not because we’re obsessed. Not because we’re extra.
Because that’s just how we’re wired.
Think about the days you skip. You’re not just a little tired. You’re snappy. Foggy. Everything feels heavier than it should.
That’s not weakness. That’s your nervous system telling you something.
Movement isn’t just burning calories. It’s releasing everything your mind couldn’t process on its own.
So the next time you feel guilty for protecting that one hour — don’t.
You weren’t addicted.
You were finally listening to your body 🤍

Social media has a way of making everyone else’s life look like the standard yours should meet.
I spent years measuring myself against timelines that were never mine to follow.
Their chapter three is not your chapter one. Their highlight reel is not your full story.
You are exactly where you need to be. Trust your own path ♥️

When did you last do something purely because you wanted to? These 6 things I’m done apologizing for and falling in love with myself was the best decision I made this decade ♥️

I’m not writing this as a coach today. I’m writing it as a woman who is tired of being told we’ve “come a long way” while photos like this keep getting taken.
I keep staring at this photo.
The world’s two biggest economies. The most powerful negotiation of the year. Decisions that will shape trade, technology, war, and peace for the next decade.
And not one woman in the room.
In 2026.
We are not short on qualified women. They lead banks, governments, hospitals, courtrooms, and companies that move more money than some of the men sitting at that table.
They were not invited.
That is not an accident. That is not a pipeline problem. That is a choice — made over and over and over again — to keep the rooms where the world is decided closed to half of the people the decisions affect.
And we are paying for it. In medicine that doesn’t see us. In policy that doesn’t protect us. In economies that don’t count our labour. In wars we don’t start but always bury our sons in.
If you are a woman reading this and you have ever made yourself smaller to be palatable in a room — stop.
If you are a woman reading this who is waiting to feel “ready” — you already are.
If you are a man reading this who calls himself an ally — look at the next room you walk into. Count. And if the answer is zero, ask why. Out loud. To the people who can change it.
A photo is never just a photo.
This one is a map of who the world still belongs to.
And I, for one, am no longer willing to pretend that’s normal.
