This red coral trout was caught at Luconia reef, off Miri, Sarawak.

Half way through fighting this almost 2kg fish, I felt a very strong tug on my line & it went slack. Upon examining it onboard, the fish was half dead & its scales and dorsal fin were badly damage. 😰

What monster has tried to gobble it??😱😱😱
