The Active Mobility Mandatory Theory Test for PAB and e-scooter riders is now available online.

Register for the test by 30 Sep 2021 and receive a $5 discount on the test fee.
To help you prepare for the test, handbooks in all four languages (English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil) are available at go.gov.sg/amrules. The test is also available in all four languages.
From 1 January 2022, PAB and e-scooter riders will have to pass the one-time test before riding in public spaces.
From 1 January 2022, power-assisted bicycle (PAB) and e-scooter riders must pass a mandatory online theory test before they are able to ride on cycling paths and roads (applicable to PABs only). This will improve awareness of active mobility rules, code of conduct and safe riding practices, in support of a safe and sustainable active mobility landscape. There are separate tests for users of these two types of motorised devices and they will be available on Singapore Polytechnic’s (SP) Professional & Adult Continuing Education (PACE) Academy at www.pace.sp.edu.sg from 30 June 2021 in four languages (English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil). To help riders prepare for the tests, e-handbooks in these languages have been made available at go.gov.sg/amrules.

Mandatory online theory tests for electric scooter and electric bicycle riders which will begin from June 30.
E-bike and e-scooter riders who want to view the handbooks can access them at this link or this link.
