Dear Purple Warriors! The gym is re-opening tomorrow at 9am!
Our doors are open to BOTH Vaccinated and Unvaccinated members from 10 Aug till 31 Aug, as we adopt a phased approach towards a mask-off policy for fully vaccinated members.
During this period, all members will have to be MASK ON at all times.
From 1 Sep, only fully vaccinated members will be allowed into the gym. Do bear with us during this transition period.

We are sad to announce that we will be temporarily closed from tonight 21st 2359Hrs till 18th August 2021.
As to how this closure will affect your membership status, as well as your paid membership fees for the month of July (if any), Team AFTBP will be sending out a personal email on 22nd July to explain how this will be managed.

We all come to the gym with a purpose and a plan, but sometimes that gets detracted, for a numbers of reasons (like getting distracted by tiktok, or that message on WhatsApp, or some buddy talk, etc). π©π©π© Here are some tips to keep your focus at the gym!
1. STICK TO THE PLAN!
Have a workout routine! The more you write down or print out your plan, the more likely you are going to stick to it at the gym.
2. LIMIT ANY AND ALL DISTRACTIONS!
If you can, turn off your phone notifications! Even better, KEEP YOUR PHONE AWAY FROM YOU when working out! (.. use AirPods for music!!) π

3. FOCUS ON FORM!
Donβt go for weight or reps. Go for form. In doing so, you your mind doesnβt wander, and if youβre also mindful about your breathing and that mind-muscle connection, you will get the most out of each set. πβ€οΈ
4. DO WHAT YOU LOVE!
Consider types of workouts based on you personality, e.g Cardio, Functional, Resistance, etc. the more you love your workouts, the more likely youβre going to keep focused, and for longer.
Keep your head in the game and increase your self-awareness! Achieve Your Purpose!
