Sure it's not really an individual attempt. This was galvanising every available resource to see if a human being could run sub 2 minutes. But what an exercise of planning, human feats of performance married with marketing and PR savvy - https://www.wired.com/2017/05/two-hour-marathon-failed-nike/

Our continuing efforts in Bario now runs into it's 3rd year. We've created something unique in trail running - the remotest ultra trail run in the region with a heavy emphasis on community development. Runners Wild has now grown with strong resonance among all our runners that have taken part and seek to be part of a bigger picture. Stay tuned as it slowly evolves into it's next incarnation!

Runners Wild our trail run in Bario, Sarawak created to support the community by creating a sustainable event to boost tourism. Part of this program is also the schools program that we created to work with the children of Bario Secondary School. Here is a little bit more of the evolution of this program.
Our on-going Junior Journalist Program in Bario just took a new exciting jump forward as we just created an online exchange/engagement exercise with the Hong Lok Yuen school in Hong Kong. This gets our Junior Journalists to share stories of their community here in Bario with their new friends in Hong Kong and vice-versa.
With this we hope to be able to open the eyes of our kids here to the lives of children in other countries.
Here in this picture our volunteers Seok and Margarine are filming a short video introduction by our kids to send over to the children in Hong Lok Yuen.
