What a fulfilling weekend at the 2026 Singapore Novices! Huge congratulations to Danyel for clinching the Silver medal in the Men’s Sabre event and to Yuzhe and Grace for their well-deserved Bronze medals! 💪💪

Asgard will be hosting our first International Camp featuring top coaches and athletes, including special guests from Italy - Coach Gianluca Filippi and World Junior Bronze Medallist Vittoria Mocci! ⚔️

Over 4 days, fencers will experience high-level training, competitive sparring and tactical learning in a fun and challenging environment.

The 2025/26 Cadet and Junior season officially came to an end with the World Junior and Cadet Championships held in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Our fencers worked hard to represent their countries and put in incredible effort at the championships!

Shoutout to Nicki who defeated the reigning the Asian Cadet Champion in the round of 128! Amazing job!

Now it’s time to rest, recuperate and reflect on the lessons learnt from this season before we train again for the new season with renewed spirit and motivation to do even better next time 💪💪

We have a World Championship Silver medallist!!

14 year old Shuhan overcame a shaky start in the preliminary rounds, and powered through to an amazing podium finish at the Cadet World Championships in Rio de Janeiro, eventually falling in the finals to a dominant Pan Qimiao from China.

Shuhan started at 54th seed due to a nervous poule performance, but powered through her first two elimination rounds. She overcame her Ukrainian opponent 15-13 in a nerve-wracking quarterfinal to set up a semifinal rematch against the Australian opponent who defeated her 15-14 at the Asian Championships. Shuhan prevailed 15-12 and faced the reigning Junior Champion Pan Qimiao in the final. Unfortunately the opponent was much too strong, and Shuhan finished with a Silver medal, in just her second appearance at the World Championships!

This Incredible achievement at such a young age is testament to the dedication and discipline she has shown in training and competition, and we believe it is just the beginning of a long and rewarding journey.

This is Asgard’s second World Championship medal in our history, and we couldn’t be prouder. Congratulations Shuhan!

Our fencers competed in the annual Young Falcons International and delivered a great performance! We are proud to have brought home a medal haul of 5 Golds, 4 Silvers, and 1 Bronze🥇🥈🥉 This is a testament of our fencers’ dedication and hard work and we couldn’t be more proud of them! It is always a joy watching them shine on the piste.
