Stretch! Stretch! Stretch!
Stretching refers to a practice of elongating a muscle or muscle group to its fullest length. Though we may not realize it, stretching is actually a natural, instinctive behavior. Upon waking, most of us will instinctively reach our arms overhead and stretch from fingers to toes. Our body naturally craves a “stretch” after long periods of sitting or inactivity. This natural instinct is your body’s way of telling you that stretching is good.
Benefits of Stretching
Stretching offers numerous health and fitness benefits:
➡️Relaxation: Put simply, stretching feels good. It’s an excellent way to cool down and relax after an invigorating workout.
➡️Increase flexibility: Flexibility refers to the degree to which an individual muscle will lengthen. As we age, our muscles grow shorter and tighter and we become less flexible. As a result, we become more susceptible to injuries. Stretching is an effective way to maintain and increase flexibility. A regular stretching routine will keep you flexible—and hopefully, injury-free.
➡️Improve circulation: Stretching increases the blood flow to the muscles, which not only helps to nourish the muscles, but also helps to eliminate waste byproducts from muscle tissue.
➡️Eliminate pain: Many of us experience muscle tightness in our quadriceps, hamstrings, and hip flexors. What we may not realize is that this muscle tightness is a common cause of lower back pain. Short, tight muscles result in impaired movement patterns and compensation, which leads to lower back pain. A regular stretching routine can help solve this common problem.

Fitness is not a destination it’s a lifestyle. Small daily improvements are bigger wins than you might think.
If you make a small amount of progress on a regular basis,those small improvements will over time add up to those insane outcome that you are looking for.
Regardless if you are trying to cut weight or pack on muscle: slow and steady(with small daily improvements) wins the race.
Be patient, if you come across an obstacle or go through a rough time, keep pushing. Do not let anything get in your way of daily improvements.

✨Good news fam!!✨
We will be resuming in-studio classes/personal training sessions with effect from 10th August (Tuesday).
🔺Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures(SMM);🔺
Please take note that *ONLY VACCINATED INDIVIDUALS WILL BE ALLOWED* to join the classes.
An individual is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after he/she has received 2 doses of Pfizer-BioNtech/ Comirnaty , Moderna ,or any WHO EUL Vaccines.
Unvaccinated individuals with a valid negative result on a Pre-event test taken within 24 hours at a MOH approved medical service provider will be allowed to enter the gym.
We will be checking your TraceTogether app to ensure all participants are fully vaccinated.
No intermingling is allowed during sessions or at rest areas.
Once your session is done,kindly leave the gym promptly.
Mask must be worn by default. Mask may only be taken off during sessions and must be put on immediately after the session. Mask must also be worn when one is changing in and out of workout attire.
Classes will be up on Mindbody app by tomorrow(Monday 9th August) for you to book.
