3rd place for our girls 😭⚽💙

This one really had everything…went all the way to sudden death and they FOUGHT for it.

They were competing in the Diamond bracket of the Bali 7s Putri (only top 2 teams from each group make it here) 💎

So this wasn’t easy games at all… this was the highest level of competition in the tournament.

And they still showed composure, courage, and heart when it mattered most 🥹

This is the kind of experience that builds players, not just skill, but mentality.

So so proud of this team 💙 This is what football is about.

This one might sound harsh… but it needs to be said.

At STAR, we don’t just build footballers. We build people.

A lot of kids think football can replace school. It doesn’t.

You want to play? You want opportunities? You want to go further?

Then you need discipline in BOTH.

Studies 🤝 Football

Because the reality is…talent alone is not enough.

If you can’t show up in school, you won’t show up on the pitch either.

We always tell our boys and girls, you can have the best of both worlds. But only if you’re willing to put in the work.

That’s the standard. 💙

This one… full circle moment.

Coach Boy back at his alma mater, Junyuan Secondary School, this time not as a student… but with Head Coach Seeni, giving the next batch of boys a shot. ⚽

Same school. Different chapter.

We went down to run a session and give the boys an opportunity to be seen, to experience a proper training environment, and maybe take that next step in their football journey.

And yes… we had players shortlisted. 🥹

But more than that, this is what STAR is about.

Not just training on the pitch, but going out, reaching more kids, and making football accessible to all.

Because sometimes all a kid needs… is a chance.

And if we can be that bridge, we’ll always show up. 💙

Grateful for moments like these, where football brings people together beyond just training and matches.

Parents, players, coaches… slowly turning into something more than just a team.

A family.
