Hike & See - Singapore

It's been almost a year since I last visited Maiu Forest and honestly speaking, I was surprised at how crowded it was today. It felt like the post-covid hiking boom all over again. However, what's sad is that the buzz isn't because people suddenly discovered how beautiful this place is. It's because evervone knows it might not be around much longer. With 15 hectares of trees slated for clearance, this forest has become a 'must-see-before-it's-gone' spot. This kinda breaks my heart. I really hope the government can consider setting aside more of this space for the wildlife that calls Maju Forest home.

19/07/26 Nursery & Fish Farm Walk

I believe the areas we walked over last Sunday could be one of the least explored places in Singapore.

When it comes nursery & farm, many would think of Lim Chu Kang area. Little do many know that there are actually nursery & farm closer to the heartland just slightly above Choa Chu Kang!

If you are looking to escape city life for the weekend, this could be a place to consider.

Hearsay from the residents that the fish mural "kampung-like" area may be gone in 1 year time as government has some development plans.

Therefore, grab your chance while it's still around!

Back to another walk after taking months of break!

Good to see familiar faces and made new friends!

It's not an everyday thing to be awarded with $5 to $10 of voucher for a walk especially in these days where inflation jumps faster than salary.

Jurong Railway Line Hike

Despite the rainy storm the night before, 17 brave hikers braced themselves and conquered Maju & Clementi forest! 💪💪💪

Everyone went in the forest full of soul! Luckily none of them left the forest soleless!

For hikers who are keen to explore these 2 forests, do take extra caution as there are quite a number of recent fallen trees in the forest.

🇸🇬 National Day Hike 🇸🇬

Happy to see many familiar faces during my once in a blue moon hike!

It was supposed to be an easy hike but many claimed to be difficult despite being only 10Km long ><

Nevertheless, many pressed on just like how Singapore came a long way to have SG60!

This is my 3rd or 4th time attempting Little T-Rex Walk

This walk brings back memories during the Covid era where many had nothing to do only to walk around Singapore 🤣

Nevertheless, I am proud that some of the walkers despite having 0 training for this walk managed to complete the walk even when their foots were screaming for help!

Throwback to 6th Apr 2025 Southern Loop Walk

Congratz to all the 30Km Finishers for this walk!

Start of the walk was a killer with multiple steps climbing and steep slope within 10min from flag off.

Despite the rainy forecast, the sun was high up in the sky scorching the participants throughout the day...

Nevertheless, 5 of us managed to overcome these obstacles to complete the 32Km loop! Congratulations once again!
