Finally we are back!
Despite a 4 - 0 loss. we had a good run out! so looking forward for many more games together!

Last pre season friendly for the guys before starting our season and at last SGX ended our positive run.

We are being let down with our failure to convert clear cut chances despite controlling the game.

First half ended with a good direct freekick scored from range.

2nd half SGX did well to launch a quick counter from a corner and dealt a deadly blow by shooting to the bottom corner of the goal.

Though game was generally friendly, it had its share of a few late tackles with Ben at the end of it.

Good warm up and thanks to guest players for coming for the game.

After 1 week CNY break the boys are back in action. With a good core team and turn up rate, the guys walked into the pitch brimming with confidence.

Playing in a big field, the game started slow but eventually we got the momentum going and created good attacking play which tested their keeper on a few occasion. However first half ended with a stalemate as we could not make our chances count.

2nd half started slow as well, however with a few subs, the game started to open up and Big Rosz opened the scoring with an instinctive volley to the roof of the net. 2nd goal followed shortly with Ariff bursting down the right and squared in a low cross which was finished by Izzul.
For the 3rd goal, Ariff again put through on the right and this time he sent in a unstoppable shot into the bottom corner of the net.

With new exciting and committed players and generous sponsors Singapore and Renovations. We are looking forward to the start of Goal Arena season.

Transitioning from a massive field last week to a neighbourhood school field this week, the pitch was substantially smaller, but we were glad we had a good turnout for this game in the hot Sunday morning heat.

Given the tight spaces of the small field @ Pasir Ris Secondary; match started out scrappy in midfield where the much younger opponents kept trying to seek out an early goal through early long balls and constant high pressure. It was through one of this long balls that led to an early penalty being conceded by our goalkeeper to which the opponent took an early lead.

Lead didn't last long as Arif burst through on the right wing and squared the ball for Azfar to equalise just moments after. Azfar finally scoring after hitting both the crossbar and right post earlier in the game.

Midway through the first half, ref called a waterbreak in view of the heat and we made some substitutions which worked brilliantly as Helmy sneaked in on a tiring Raven defence to score his first goal just minutes before halftime. 2-1 to HRG at the break.

2nd half was an end to end game playing under the scorching sun. Raven scoring from a freekick as HRG defence was still reorganising. HRG then scored two quickfire goals with Vincent bursting through the left flank on both occassions; scoring one himself while squaring back for Ariff for the other.

However, Raven pegged us back and flooded the midfield in hopes of turning the game around, two fouls were not called by the ref and Raven managed to get two goals back. It was game on and things were heating up.

HRG got numerous chances on the counter whilst the opponents poured numbers forward but chances were wasted; in the end Helmy got his second goal from one of the counter attacks.

Soon after, HRG closed the game down and minutes later referee blew the final whistle. At the end of game, handshakes were still exchanged and both sides of players left the pitch with a light hearted smile.

Playing on a big field and on a hot Sunday, we are blessed with a good number of players today.

Given a big field, the team utilised the spaces well and the team threads more passes than usual. However a good and quick counter attack by opponent resulted in us conceding the first goal.
Our players pushed on and on and a good thru ball down the middle by Jacky found Helmy 1 on 1 with the keeper. He kept his cool and equalised for us before half time.

2nd half was a dull affair playing under the scorching sun. Referee decided to call for a water break and with some shuffle up. We increased the energy level after the break.

Late in the game, we won a corner and with a precise cross from Helmy, he found Aldrick unmarked at the back post, he headed the ball across goal and Azfar was there to score the winner.

Soon after, referee blew the final whistle. Due to the hot weather, tempers flared abit during the game. However at the end of game, handshakes were still exchanged and both sides of players left the pitch with a light hearted smile.

Irregardless of the result and despite going down the mood around the pitch was cheerful and relax.
Feeling excellent that we have the win to end the year on a high.

Try to get some post season friendly games and being sister's team we decided to combine and have some games together.
Despite the downpour, the guys put in an energetic work rate in a friendly game against Oranjino FC.
Great turn up with an impressive 17 players, looking forward for next few games together.
