IBFI global conference 2026

Bikefitters do not get to meet in the same room very frequently, and I think it is special when it happens. This conference was exceptionally inspiring, not just in terms of new technology, ideas and knowledge, but also understanding cyclists as human beings interacting with the bicycle on a deeper level. This involves taking a step back, asking the right unbiased questions, making important direct observations, and happens even before the science and tech comes in. Sounds simple, but not at all.

Grateful to be able to meet like-minded individuals, sharing ideas, and talk bikefit.

Resolving lateral pelvic tilt and assymmetry on the saddle is usually really challenging. It can stem from a functional issue, structural issue, bike set up issue, a combination of each or something else. Key would be to validate a positive outcome by identifying the major contributor.

We have been out of social media for abit, just focused on the past weeks of bikefits. It feels great to be able to help riders enjoy what they do more. From Ironman events, to overseas trips, local bike races to more serious regional racing, MTB-ing, gravel or just recreational riding to keep fit.
