Ever wondered what it’s like to volunteer at parkrun as a Timekeeper? ⏱️✨

As a Timekeeper, you’re right in the heart of the action, clicking participants across the line and helping ensure everyone gets an accurate result. You’ll have a front-row seat to sprint finishes, PB celebrations, first-time parkrunners crossing the line, and plenty of smiles and thank-yous along the way 💜

All you need is a phone with the Virtual Volunteer app, a quick tap for each finisher, and a little concentration. That’s it!

It’s a fantastic role for volunteers who enjoy being part of the finish-line buzz and want to see parkrun from a completely different perspective. Don’t worry if you’ve never done it before — full training is provided, and there’s always a second Timekeeper alongside you for support.

Volunteering is what makes parkrun happen every single week, and Timekeeping is a brilliant way to participate with our amazing community.
