A weekly run became something bigger. ❤️
Yesterday, our Running Lab community came together and pushed themselves to collectively complete 703 loops! 🏃♂️🏃♀️
For every loop completed, Running Lab pledged $1 to Smile Asia.
Running Lab rounded the contribution up to $800, and Khing Go, Founding Board Member of Smile Asia, matched the donation dollar-for-dollar.
That means our running community has helped contribute a total of $1,600 to Smile Asia. ❤️
And what made it even more meaningful was seeing runners push themselves to do that extra loop, knowing that every additional round would contribute to the cause.
Smile Asia may not be a running charity, but we believe running is about more than just the miles. It is about community, coming together and using what we love to make a difference beyond ourselves. As we celebrate Children’s Day, we hope these miles can bring a little more hope and a brighter smile to children who need it.
