Keep finning! moving! kicking!

My mother-in-law yesterday progressed to the olympic size big pool yesterday 💦 It’s a special Valentine’s present 🎁 for both my wife, myself, and to the extended family.

She first submerged her head underwater blowing bubbles 🫧 back in 2022 March at 70 years old. Then we were still donning mask for covid-restrictions 😷 She coerced to join our pool sessions for a few months prior constantly asking about her swimming costume, goggles, caps, 🥽 entrance to our local pool that’s free for her 🤗.

We took our time practising, no fixed schedule, without goals 🤩 so I’m proud she is confident getting into and out of the pool deeper than her chest level. This is first and many more times to come just stretching, finning, kicking, moving and having fun… 🏊‍♀️

This week is definitely one of my most hectic post-covid rebound in terms of social life, work and personal engagements. This past 7 days has been continuously packed with meals😋, dinners 🍝, catch-ups 🍻 in various settings.

Although this intensity is not recommended, it’s most energetic to connect with new colleagues and friends, older campus buddies 2x 🤓 and newer comrades 👩🏻‍🎓 . And importantly to reconnect on my routine with industry 🤿 partners, my treasured family 🥰 and my inner self 🧘🏻‍♂️

The dialogues are the most valuable during these occasions. All of them great intellectual-spiritual and social communal journey ☺️ reflecting on personal growth and a hope for the destination to come.

So I can say, my life is to the brim this last week, and I’m looking forward to my vacation time next week 🏝️
