What’s a Hapu'Upu'U Hawaiian?
This cute name, Hapu'Upu'U (HA-PU-UH-PU) refers to the Hawaiian sea bass or grouper, found locally around the Hawaiian Islands. 🐟
At Ola, the Hapu'Upu'U Hawaiian dish features the sea bass pan-roasted with brown butter for a crispy, nutty flavour. It’s paired with king oyster mushrooms and topped with chicken jus that has been slow-cooked for 72 hours. Yum!
