Last Saturday, Akkenzhe Bimyrzayeva, a classical pianist and master piano teacher hosted a lecture-concert series: Human Emotions Through Classical Music combining live performance with storytelling and audience discussion.

We hope everyone had a fruitful evening understanding the deeper meaning of classical music 🎼🎹

On 11 July, Singapore Cancer Society celebrated the accomplishments of students at this year's Help the Children & Youth Programme (HCYP) Achievement Awards.

🎉Congratulations to all student recipients who continued to show perseverance, determination and resilience throughout the challenges of having a family member affected by cancer.

We are honoured to have been Singapore Cancer Society’s venue partner for this meaningful occasion and wish each student recipient continued success in the years ahead.☺️

🌸 Step into the Art in Bloom exhibition, a celebration of creativity and cultural exchange through the eyes of young artists.

Discover a vibrant collection of artworks created by children and youths from Singapore and Kanagawa, Japan, showcasing their unique perspectives while fostering friendships across cultures.

As you explore the exhibition, don't miss the stunning Sakura tree on display. 🌸
It was lovingly handcrafted using papier-mâché techniques by students from Little Arts Academy and 10 Square Youth Arts Academy, making it a beautiful centrepiece of this collaborative showcase.

✨Come experience the creativity, imagination, and meaningful connections that bring Art in Bloom to life. The exhibition at the Gallery ends on 31 Aug.

✨ From 22 to 24 June, our auditorium was filled with wonder, laughter, and magical moments shared by families and children alike.

‘Hello! How are you?’ brought audiences on a heartwarming adventure alongside Ai & Aiko, James, and Grandma, creating an unforgettable experience for all who attended. 💖

Twelve brave performers each had their moment to shine during their recital last weekend 🌟🎹🎼

Every performance was a reflection of their hard work and dedication. Kudos to their teacher as well! ☺️

Towards the end of the afternoon, they put up a special band performance for their parents. Guests also enjoyed light refreshments prepared by our in-house caterer, Cafe One O, as they celebrated the students' achievements together.

Congratulations Decadance Co on the premiere of your film ’The Waiting Room’ last Saturday evening. Thank you for choosing 10 Square to be your official venue. We are grateful to be part of your celebration and look forward to welcoming you back again 🎉🙂

Today, a Flamenco workshop took place at 10 Square. Probably the very first since we opened our doors over 11 years ago.

What was truly beautiful was witnessing dancers from Spain and the Singapore community connect so naturally despite the differences in language. Through every step, rhythm and expression, dance became the language that bridged two cultures.

Moments like these remind us what 10 Square has always been about as a community arts space — creating connections, conversations and understanding of cultures through the arts.
