At The Prosthetic Company, we had the opportunity to work with the GripLock Finger®.
This device is designed for individuals with partial hand or finger loss, helping restore finger length and support functional hand use in daily activities.
What stood out was not just the engineering. It was the impact.
A prosthetic finger can help a patient hold, support, stabilise, and participate more naturally in everyday tasks.
But beyond function, it also helps rebuild something just as important: the patient’s confidence in using their hand again.
For many patients, prosthetics are not only about replacing what was lost.
They are about helping them move forward with more control, comfort, and dignity.
Technology matters. Fit matters. But the real goal is always the same.
To help people return to life with greater confidence, and we are proud to be a part of this :)

Sometimes, improving mobility starts with one small adjustment.

Recently, we at The Prosthetic Company were invited to set up a pop-up booth at Yong-en Care Centre’s Strong & Healthy Fiesta, supported by FairPrice Foundation.

At our booth, we introduced elderly participants and volunteers to different orthotic devices that can support mobility, improve alignment, and help people move more comfortably.

We also shared how suitable footwear, insoles, and support devices can make a meaningful difference in everyday movement.

Through our conversations, we realised that many people were not aware of how orthotics could support them in their daily lives.

A small change in the right equipment may help reduce discomfort, improve stability, and give someone greater confidence when walking.

For us, healthcare outreach is not only about presenting medical devices.

It is about helping people understand the solutions available to them and how those solutions may improve their quality of life.

We are grateful for the opportunity to engage with the community and raise awareness about the importance of mobility support.

Because sometimes, one small adjustment can make every step feel more comfortable.

On 24 April 2026, an inspiring night at The 28th National Chinese Life Insurance Congress ✨

Organised by Insurance Marketing Group (IMM), this remarkable gathering brought together over 2,600 participants across the industry — all united by a shared focus on protection, planning, and the meaningful role insurance plays in people’s lives.

We were also honoured to have our OrthoKai (our new clinical brand) brand ambassador, Irene, as a special guest, to share her personal journey — how she recovered post amputation, and her journey to mobility and independence using advanced prosthetics solutions. This is a powerful reminder of strength, resilience, and what recovery truly looks like.

For us at OrthoKai , it was more than just an event. It was an opportunity to share something deeply personal, and what we stand for.
