There's been a massive confusion.
If you're trying to lose fat, you're probably already aware of the importance of calories.
As you progress, whenever you see that you are no longer dropping fat, the thought of "ok, let me lower my calories to be in a deficit" probably pops up.
I see this more and more in the ladies hopping on our coaching.
Our ladies are coming in consuming way lesser calories than they need to.
Despite eating so little, they just can't lose more fat! They are usually angry and frustrated at their slow metabolism.
This is exactly why.
It wasn't easy for them to move past their old belief system of "eating lesser and lesser" and it took time for them to gain confidence in this process since they had to see their fat loss changes for themselves.
But with constant reassurance and their trust in the process, they eventually got there.
Better yet, this new belief system has empowered their relationship with food and have them feeling guilt-free eating more.
Caloric deficit is not lowering calories.

Soreness doesn't indicate progress.
But it may show you a weakness to work on.
I used to practise "good" sitting and standing posture,
yet my back was still sore.
That's because "good" posture takes away your chance
to work your muscles.
Don't chase soreness, understand it.

HIGHLY UNDER-RATED BUT SO CRITICAL
IN THE SUCCESS OF OUR MEMBERS
I didn't realise how common of an issue this was till I
started checking on the water intake of our members.
There were members who drank less than a cup of
water a day...
A CUP???
It's true that a majority of you can still lose fat without
hydrating sufficiently...
But fam...
Drink up.
There're so many benefits to drinking water (see the
graphic above) that to be honest...
I have this impulse to feed you water even if you're
gonna hate me for life. hahaha.
Drink up fam!
If you don't like water by itself, add some fruits in your
water just to spice it up a little. (No the fruits do not
help you to lose fat magically)

If you want your nutrition plan to work for you
sustainably...
You need to take it step by step.
Cutting out carbs, snacks and a ton of calories right at
the start is probably the sure fire way for most people
to quit fast.
And no, you don't have to cut out carbs, snacks.
Make your journey a little more enjoyable by taking it
step by step!
