Many people have the impression that if they decide to eat low-carb healthy meals they’ll be relegated to a life of broiled chicken breast and steamed broccoli.... I'd like to dispel this popular misconception 😅 With a little creativity, low-carb meals can be tasty, colourful and satisfying.
Here's our recipe for homemade Crystal Fried Rice using Konjac rice, a low-carb, low-calorie rice substitute made from the Konjac plant which is a type of root vegetable with a high fibre content. 😊
How To Make:
1️⃣ Add diced onions and good-quality coconut oil into a preheated pan. Sauté the onions until golden brown. Add the garlic and chopped French beans. Cook for 10min.
2️⃣ Drain the liquid from the konjac crystal rice packet and add the crystal rice to the pan. Cook until any excess liquid evaporates.
3️⃣ Add 1 tsp of oyster sauce, 2 tsps of light soy sauce, a pinch of salt and the chopped chillis (can adjust the amounts according to taste). Mix well and let simmer.
4️⃣ Add the diced prawns and bacon. Mix well and cook for 5min.
5️⃣ Make a space / “hole” in the centre of the crystal rice mix, crack open the 2 eggs and let them sit and cook in the cleared space at the centre of the pan. Once the eggs are sufficiently cooked, mix them all together with the rest of the crystal rice mix.
6️⃣ Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve!

Our programme consists of 10 progressive classes at a time. We would recommend 2 classes a week for effective learning, for the teachings to "stick". However, if this is not feasible due to work commitments, once a week is fine.

Time is precious! You need to “do what you can, when you can”. With our Zoom Classes, all you need is your computer/iPad and your mat. Practising in the comfort of your own home allows you to focus solely on yourself, your practice and make the most of your time.
Our Zoom classes are not like following a YouTube video or fitness app where no one is actually checking to see if you’re doing it right. This is a private Live class where the teacher is watching and interacting with you personally, and ensuring that you are doing the poses/exercises in a safe and effective way.
