World Karate Organization Shinkyokushinkai Singapore

World Karate Organization Shinkyokushinkai Singapore Affiliated to World Karate Organization (WKO) Shinkyokushinkai headed by Daihyo Kenji Midori and has its Headquarters based in Tokyo, Japan.

We are affiliated to NPO (Non-Profit Organization) World Karate Organization (WKO) Shinkyokushinkai headed by Daihyo Kenji Midori and has its Headquarters based in Tokyo, Japan. WKO has now developed into an organization with 80,000 registered members in 81 countries (as of April 2012), and Karate has crossed over all borders, including nationality, race, religion, age, and gender. Karate is loved by the world as a noble Budo (martial art), for it can be trained throughout life, and holds the role of strengthening one's mind and soul. The number of youth practitioners has recently increased at a remarkable rate, and in the context of education, Karate Dojos (training halls) have attracted significant attention and expectation. With an existing base of 300 registered members across 10 Dojos in Singapore and rapidly growing, WKO Singapore has its activities centred on the 3 pillars of nurturing youth, contributing to Singapore society, and promoting international exchange of people and culture. It does this by fostering the practice and development of Full Contact Karate through conducting training sessions, coordinating and organizing gradings, seminars, and participating in national and international level tournaments.

Osu.

Proud to share that Wednesday newspaper featured our recent seminar and highlighted some incredible community support! 📰

Our very own Colonel Aaron Tan generously donated **$23,166.35** to the St. John Headquarters under WKO Singapore. Giving back to the community is one of our core WKO pillars, and we are grateful for his continuous dedication to social contribution.

In addition to this, Colonel Aaron Tan also sponsored a Platinum dinner table for WKO Singapore at the upcoming St. John Fundraising Night.

Thank you, Colonel Aaron Tan, for leading by example and supporting such a meaningful cause! 🥋✨

Osu!
I'm glad today performance and event went all well👍. I didn't expect whole event last 4hours+. Thank you for every one's patience to stay all the way. I had received numerous photos & videos and would like to share part by part. WKOSS is honored to have Aaron Tan represent our Karate organistion contribution to St John for the charity through this event.
Today our members work together to make everything went smoothly. Every part of todays training had important aspects, i had on purposely empersized for those senior members, hoping to raise their level up.
Next was for our SG team start from advanced kata as I knew those 5 katas will be your challenge in your 20th Asia tournament for Kata competition part.
Last part was our
30 paxs kumite it was not easy to complete most of our SG figter had done your best although they are almost collapsed especially coming to 20+ opponents. However I am happy to see all our fighters accomplished for 30 hard kumite.

All the best to WKOSS , your spirit had making me to organise next year SFC Championship + Seminar as I plan to invite higher level Fighters probably from Japan to share their knowledge to WKO Singapore.
