Meet Yee Yang from BFT Punggol Coast đź‘‹
Whether you’re brand new to training or looking to level up your performance, Yee Yang is all about helping you move with confidence, train with intention, and get the most out of every class.
Get to know him a little better:
"I have been playing some sports since school and eventually after some fall off i found myself not able to move as well as i used to. Training started as a way to get back my fitness levels and to help me move better. Eventually it is now a routine to improve more and be more athletic.
Fave BFT program would be Power - it has a lot of technicality in the explosive exercises and either seeing the improvement in technique or moving more weight is really fulfilling!"

Jin Jie:
"I was drawn in by how systematic the training programmes are. It’s completely fuss-free, which takes the guesswork out of working out. What keeps me coming back is the coaching. The trainers are sincere and encouraging, always offering practical tips and skills to help me improve my form and technique. My overall health has drastically improved; I find myself functioning better throughout the day and feeling less restless. BFT has given me a consistent space to focus on improving myself over time. It’s a highly positive environment where you’re surrounded by motivating classmates and supportive trainers, all striving to be the best versions of themselves. Kai Ying:
"I joined BFT because I wanted to do something for myself instead of having my life revolve completely around my two kids. I wanted to feel like myself again and have something that was just for me. What keeps me coming back is how BFT has become more than just a workout; it has helped me feel less tired and more energised, and I’ve also made great friends along the way. Every session feels fun because of the coaches and the community. I’ve definitely become stronger, both physically and mentally. Physically, I can see myself improving and doing things I couldn’t do before. Mentally, I feel more confident and accomplished after every session. BFT has also reminded me that taking time for myself is important, and that looking after myself helps me be a better version of myself in my everyday life. The best part about BFT Punggol Coast is the people. Everyone is so encouraging and welcoming, and it makes showing up so much easier because you know you’re not doing it alone. To anyone thinking about joining, just join and stop overthinking it! If you keep waiting for the “right time”, you may never start. “BFT Punggol Coast has changed my life! Even I can't believe the changes my body has been through ever since I joined! I've broken so many personal barriers: from losing 8kg in the 8-week challenge to smashing my PRs for squats and bench press in the Performance Benchmark.
The friends I made along the way are a testament to the amazing community that BFTPC has built. The coaches are fantastic, as I'm sure all members would agree. Head coach Daniel, along with coaches Fila, Yee Yang, Sofia, Audric, Ally, JX, Jem and Jamie, have changed my mentality and pushed me past my limits in a way that no other gym has done before.
I look forward to Strength classes the most! I love loading plates to push past my regular weights! I find myself progressing steadily and lifting more every week."
