Meanwhile, our U12 players had a futsal session at Funan SG , playing under the city lights and enjoying a different football experience. 🌃⚽️

A fantastic morning at the West Coast CC Sports Day! ⚽🏅

Our U6, U8, U10, U12 & U14 teams took on West Coast CSN and Kent Ridge AFA in a series of exciting matches. It was a great opportunity for our players to put into practice what they’ve been working on in training, gain valuable match experience, and continue their development as we prepare for the upcoming JSSL League.

Most importantly, every player gave their best, had fun, and went home with a well-deserved medal! 🏅👏

Well done to all our players, coaches, and parents for another enjoyable day of football! ⚽️❤️

A great start to our very first weekly Goalkeeper Training session! 🧤⚽

As more players look to develop their goalkeeping skills, we’re excited to welcome Coach Bryan to lead our specialised goalkeeper programme.

Another weekend, another competition for our U12 squad as we took part in the fishncosg Cup.

We started the group stage with an impressive 1-1 draw against the eventual tournament champions before recording two consecutive wins to finish second in the group and secure a place in the semi-finals.

The semi-final against hexacore_football_academy was a tightly contested affair, ending scoreless after full time. The match was decided by sudden-death penalties, and unfortunately, we came out on the losing side.

A couple of injuries and some tired legs ultimately cost us a chance of a podium finish. While it wasn’t the result we were hoping for, the players showed great determination and remained competitive throughout the tournament, with several younger players stepping up to fill in for unavailable teammates.

A special mention goes to Chane and Amir, who both scored their first-ever competitive goals. A milestone they’ll always remember, and hopefully the first of many.

Well done to the entire squad for the effort, resilience, and teamwork shown throughout the day. We keep learning, improving, and moving forward. ❤️⚽

🎉 Youth Day Celebration at Odyssey Football ⚽

We wrapped up training with a small celebration for our June and July birthday boys and girls, while also celebrating Youth Day together! 🥳

It was a great turnout, with plenty of energy throughout the session. The day ended on a high with a fun penalty shootout competition, where everyone had the chance to showcase their finishing skills.

Our coaches also briefed the players on an exciting month ahead, with several upcoming events and competitions:

🤝 Age-Group Friendlies

We are also delighted to announce that our U8 and U12 teams will be representing Odyssey Football in the JSSL Singapore competition starting this August.

This is another exciting milestone for our club and a great opportunity for our players to continue challenging themselves and growing through competitive football.

Quarter-finalists at today’s Nations Football 7s, representing Brazil in a tournament organised by arfc.sg. 🇧🇷⚽

After a tough opening defeat to the eventual runners-up, Scotland, in the group stage, the boys showed great character to bounce back with impressive victories over Singapore and Portugal, securing a place in the quarter-finals. Their journey ended with a narrow defeat to eventual fourth-placed Argentina.

A fantastic effort from the team, especially considering that half the squad consisted of 9 and 10-year-olds, alongside a couple of players making their competitive football debut.

Plenty of positives to take away, valuable experience gained, and another step forward in the players’ development. The future is bright—well done, boys! 👏💛💚
