Guys, we wrap up SGIA SHL T25 Season 2 as runners up.

We won all 6 group stage games. That is something we have never done before. Great start to the tournament. From group stage to Super 8 to semis and into the final, this is a strong achievement by the team.

First, thank you to everyone who played each and every game. Full effort throughout. Also big thanks to our off field supporters, Sanjeevi, Tirineesh, Mayuran, Prem, Mahalingam.

Santhosh, very well batted as usual at the top and well deserved Best Batsman of the tournament.
Arul, had some hard luck but still put in a few good games while opening.
GV, fantastic with the bat this season, scoring quick 30s and 40s for the team.
Selva, did well picking up key wickets in the middle overs with spin, which helped us a lot.
Mani, great job on your maiden fifty, played beautifully in that match.
Muru, had some hard luck early but came back strong in the last few games. Bowling was exceptional with important wickets and tight economy.
Kamesh, kept trying every game, results will come soon.
Guna, had a few good games, hope you recover well from injury.
Arulraj, fantastic comeback with the bat in the last few games, bowling was good in the first few.
Naren, chipped in with 30s and 40s and as usual very strong with the new ball.
Siva, great season with the ball, finishing as second highest wicket taker and picking wickets consistently in middle and death overs.
Sathish, played some good innings according to match situations, good to see.
Maha, amazing in the field as always and always there to support the team.
Kishore, was good in the opening spell picking up early wickets each game.

Even though we finished runners up and reached multiple finals, we take this as a learning experience. We fix our mistakes and come back stronger.

vs SPARTANS CC (23/11/2025)

We went in with a clear plan to start strong and put opponents under pressure early. Our openers delivered a dream start. GV (84 off 44)* and Muru (94 off 49) were outstanding, putting on a brilliant 143-run stand. Both played high-quality cricket, smashing boundaries. After that, the middle order and tail end started collapsing and chipped in with small runs helping us reach a competitive 226/10 in 22.5 overs.

With the ball, we focused on early breakthroughs. Arulraj bowled tight lines and managed to pick up the first wicket. Siva and Bala grabbed crucial wickets in the middle overs, along with Selva using the spin to finish their batsmen. 178/6 was the final score and we won by 48 runs.

IA Cup :

We lost the toss and the opponent put us bowls 1st, Naren was the star of the show and bowled with great control and accuracy taking 4 wickets in his 5 overs. Guna also bowled well, taking 2 wickets in 6 overs but bowled with good discipline and was able to create pressure on the batsmen. Alfy, Siva and Selva all bowled tight spells and kept the runs down. They all played their part in keeping the run rate low and took some wickets. Ending the innings with 167/10 for us for chase.

Second Innings:
Santhosh and Vinoth started the innings strong and played sensibly scoring 50 runs in just 5 overs. GV also played well alongside Selva to build a partnership. Naren came on next and was in quick fire scoring boundaries each over but unfortunately couldn’t get the half century But hard luck for him. Elango finished the game and we chased down the target with 6 overs to spare.
