Over the weekend, we held our World Rugby Level 1 in FAIR at NYSI! 🏉

It was a great weekend filled with learning, discussions, practical sessions and plenty of opportunities to put the FAIR principles into action.

From 1st July 2026, World Rugby lowers tackle height for community rugby around the world. The Singapore Rugby Union has adopted the base of sternum height as the national community standard rather than waist height and this will apply to relevant competitions in Singapore from 1st October 2026.

Look out for upcoming community/coach and match official engagement sessions to help implement this change.

Pesta Sukan 2026 kicks off this weekend, bringing together clubs, friends and the rugby community for an unforgettable weekend.

During the their time up in Thailand for the Unions Cup, the Men’s 15s team had a chance to visit the Singapore Embassy. This gave the team a meaningful chance to connect with Singapore’s diplomatic representatives abroad and learn more about the Embassy’s role in supporting Singaporeans overseas.

Thank you for having us! This definitely added to their experience in Thailand on tour, on top of the competition on the field.🔥🔥
