Recent spraying of prawn/shrimp rods' handles. Most of these handles were sprayed with multi colored metallic paint and gloss clear coat. A few were just gloss clear coated

Recieved this Daiwa baitcaster with instructions from owner to have it painted in metallic black for the frame and gun smoke(cold) for the side plates.
Turns out the side plates' color matches the handle k***s' color

These 2 Daiwa spinning reels were sent in for re-spray works to the frames and plastic chrome parts. The reels were taken apart, serviced and assembled by Reel Spa リールスパ Fishing Reel Servicing

Reel was sent in with instructions from owner to let my imagination run wild.
After the design was conceptualised, weeks were spent sourcing for the correct stencils in terms of image and size but unfortunately, none fits the bill.
Thoughts of giving up did cross the mind but dedication to the design spurred me on. Since no pre-cut stencils are available, I'll try to fabricate some on my own. Weeks were again spent with countless trials and errors until the desired outcome was achieved.
Along the spraying process, changes to the theme of the design were made.
Being able to pull off this project was a great relief.

Hi, first posting of 2021.
Reel was sent in last year for quite an extensive make-over. For a start, this is the first time I've completely spray over a spinning reel's spool to achieve a different color but retaining it's original design.
The masking tape application to this reel to create the desired outcome pushes me a notch above my usual standard.
There were multiple trials and errors but these mistakes allowed me to develope more as a painter.
Many thanks to the owner for his patience, granting me the duration necessary to complete this reel.

This Shimano Stella 3000 was sent to the workshop for respray. Owner was very involved in the designing phase with lots of brainstorming sessions before the design was finalized. Stickers and decals were also printed and tried on different parts of the reel to achieve the desired outcome but in the end, we settled for laser marking of the graphic designed by the owner

Recieved a request to spray paint a pair of sunglass frame as the original finish on the frame is peeling off and tacky to the touch...

Recieved a badly corroded Daiwa Zillion. Owner requested the reel resprayed to a Purple/Blue color shift.

Recieved this Jigging Master PE 3 for custom spraying around August 2019. After discussion with the owner, the reel will be custom sprayed to a Captain America theme.
As I've done a Captain America theme on a Shimano Scorpion sometime back, I do not want to repeat the same color/tone. So for this reel, we abdopted a darker shade/tone as it also coincides with the Avengers movies going on at that time.
This reel took me a much longer time to complete as it suffers screw up during the painting process. A big thank you to the owner for his patience throught out this project.
