The P.T. LTX joins the range between the P.T. Skin and P.T. Hybrid, offering riders a new balance of compactness, comfort, and performance without replacing either model. Each wing retains its own unique character, while the LTX fills the space between them.
At its core, the P.T. LTX introduces an all-new hybrid airfoil concept featuring just 25% double-surface chord coverage, compared to the P.T. Hybrid's 50%. By reducing the internal structure while retaining the advantages of hybrid technology, we've created a wing that is lighter and more compact while preserving the broad wind range and comfortable ride riders expect from a hybrid design.
With a lower aspect ratio than both the P.T. Hybrid and even the P.T. Skin, the LTX prioritises stability and ultimate compactness. The result is a wing that deploys effortlessly, packs down small, and makes stowing quick and easy in any condition, while maintaining the comfortable and confidence-inspiring ride that hybrid technology is known for.

Defi Wind is taking place in France right now! Things are fast and big on the course. Here is our designer, Aljaz, with his Hybrid 7.2 finishing 8th on the course after a mishap with seaweed :) It is a learning game, he said after the first race. Today, another round!

Matthias from Mat on Foil is one of the few riders who has had the opportunity to extensively test a wide range of Triple Seven products. Thanks to this experience, he can clearly explain the differences, strengths, and riding characteristics of each model.
This time, he got his hands on the new Hybrid 7.2 and compared it directly to the single-skin Skin 7.3 in a detailed video review.
His findings align perfectly with our vision for these two wings. While the Skin 7.3 shines with exceptional low-end performance and simplicity, the HYbrid 7.2 offers a noticeable advantage in top-end control, stability, and overall wind range.
The choice ultimately depends on the rider and the conditions. If you are riding on lakes or in thermic environments with periodic gusts, the Hybrid 7.2 will comfortably absorb those stronger peaks without becoming overpowering. On the other hand, if your local conditions are truly marginal and you want to maximise every bit of low-end power, the Skin 7.3 will deliver an efficient, enjoyable ride even in light winds.
Both wings are designed with a clear purpose in mind, and neither replaces the other. Instead, they complement each other, giving riders the opportunity to choose the perfect tool for their style, conditions, and expectations.
