Good morning to all the Soča river kayakers and users/visitors!
Kobarid's municipality wants to raise the cost of the daily river pass in Soča Valley to 15€ in 2024, 5 times the current price (3€).
We think this is unacceptable and so we are submiting this petition to try to stop this nonsense. Join us, sign this petition and help us stop this unfairness!

If kayaking is like driving an off-road car, rafting is like driving an off-road party bus. They are different but both lots of fun! We are happy to have finally started to offer rafting, which is a great passion of ours and one of the ways we make our “job” feel like a fun past time activity. Come experience the party with us at Kamp Koren 🤙

We also managed to squeeze in a short trip to the French Alps. Water levels might have been low, but nothing beats the good times with great friends. Thanks for showing the lines on Gil and Ubaye, Jean-Jean!

Be assured that the lack of posts on our social media does not indicate that we aren't in business this year. On the contrary, Kobarid Kayak School has been gettin' busy abroad for the first time. To be honest, we took it more like a holiday and left the local masters to show us how it's done in their backyard. Jacques Gilardone of Alpin Rider Center took stellar care of our guests in Valsesia, and once again, we finished the trip with keen kayakers having a portfolio of photos that will rank high on Tinder.
