Soriska planina is and paradise. This weekend they host a race. It is a great attraction also for spectators 🥳

Ta vikend je potekal ze 14. Maraton Alpe Scott!

Pot se prične v starem delu Kranja, od koder se usmerimo preko Soriškega polja do Škofje Loke, kjer se lahko sprehodimo po čudovitem starem mestnem jedru ali pa obiščemo mogočni Loški grad. Naprej sledimo cesti ob Poljanski Sori mimo Visokega pri Poljanah, kjer stoji znan Tavčarjev dvorec. V Dolenji Dobravi zavijemo levo proti vasem Brebovnica, Lučine in Šentjošt nad Horjulom. Ko dosežemo Vrh Svetih Treh Kraljev, si lahko privoščimo zaslužen počitek z razgledom pri bunkerju, ki nas danes spominja na Rupnikovo linijo iz druge svetovne vojne.

The trail starts in the old part of Kranj, from heading across Soriško polje to Škofja Loka, where you can walk through the beautiful old town, or visit the mighty Loka Castle. Next, we follow the road along the Poljanska Sora River past Visoko pri Poljanah where the famous Tavčar Manor stands. In Dolenja Dobrava, we turn left towards the villages of Brebovnica, Lučine and Šentjošt nad Horjulom. When we reach Vrh Svetih Treh Kraljev, we can take a well-deserved rest with a view by the bunker, which today reminds us of the Rupnik line from the Second World War.

Kolesarjenje poteka večinoma po manj prometnih stranskih cestah skozi čudovito naravo in tradicionalne gorenjske vasice. Peljemo se mimo nekaterih največjih naravnih biserov ter kulturnih zakladov, ob vznožju visokih gora ter ob kristalno čistih rekah. To je kolesarska trasa, ki nikogar ne pusti ravnodušnega. Ob poti si lahko privoščite slavno blejsko kremno rezino, namočite noge v mrzli Radovni ali jezeru Kreda, 700 let stara domačija pa vas z lahkoto popelje v preteklost.
The route runs along less busy side roads, through beautiful nature and small, traditional villages, passing by some of the most breathtaking natural pearls and historical sights, at the foot of the high mountains and alongside the crystal clear rivers. This is the route that will not truly delight. There are many stops you can make along the way; try the famous Bled Cream Cake, refresh yourself in the cold Radovna river, go 700 years back in time or learn all about how modern beekeeping started in this region.
