Today the gear arrived that will be with me for all 500 kilometers. Selected layers for long days, materials that reliably wick moisture, a fit that allows unrestricted movement. Shoes that must hold strong when the body is tired and the pace still demanding.

At this distance, every detail matters. Weight. Breathability. Grip. Efficiency.

Those who were there know — the fatigue, the smiles, the silence in the forest, the sound of shoes on gravel, and that invisible bond you feel with every loop.

It was truly great to meet so many familiar faces, to share encouraging words, handshakes, and those silent looks that say more than words ever could. 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

Thank you all for the energy, honesty, and good vibes — without that, the Backyard wouldn’t be what it is.

An unforgettable getaway on the island of Skyros – a place that truly amazed us with its authenticity, warmth, and contrasts. 🏝️

Together we wandered through charming villages, whitewashed houses beneath the fortress, narrow streets filled with the scent of Mediterranean herbs, and cafés where time seems to stand still. By the sea, the sound of the waves was our companion, while on the hills we were rewarded with breathtaking views. 🌊⛰️

The island gave us the perfect mix of relaxation – from golden sunsets by the sea to quiet corners where we could recharge. We also met a few locals who welcomed us with smiles and genuine Greek hospitality.

Skyros will stay in our hearts as an island of honest moments – simple, yet so precious. 💙
