Bermane Stiverne and Deontay Wilder!
-The 6-foot-2, 240-pound Stiverne (24-1-1, 21 KOs), 36 -- who was born in Haiti, grew up in Canada and has lived and trained in Las Vegas for about 10 years -- doesn't exactly have the deepest résumé either, but he does have two clear wins against longtime contender Arreola, crunching punching power and the reputation for being a patient counterpuncher with a good chin.
-The 6-foot-7, 225-pound Wilder (32-0, 32 KOs), with enormous charisma, massive punching power and unbridled enthusiasm -- not to mention a glittering record against nobody in particular -- has yakked and yakked about Stiverne since the fight was ordered. He did not let up when he came to the podium, as he seeks to become the first American heavyweight titleholder since Shannon Briggs won a belt in April 2006 and lost in his first defense 10 months later.
