Meet Matilda Weihs, our guest teacher, who will guide your yoga practice a couple of times throughout September. Her first class is this upcoming Monday, the 7th. Make sure to mark your calendar.

Yoga found her at age of 14, and returning to it has become her way back to herself. Between the high Alps and the wild landscapes of Svalbard, she moves through the world with deep presence and care.

Come explore that sense of wonder with her, on the mat and beyond.

You may remember her from her teaching days at Spitsbergen Artists Center. We’re so thrilled and honored to have her guide us 🤍🙏🏼🫶🏼

Hosted by Ahyeong, the founder of @soulpeakstudio & Jill, the founder of @snowfoxtravel, Arctic Awakening 2.0 is more than a yoga retreat — it’s an invitation to return to presence, simplicity, and the quiet rhythm of nature in one of the world’s most remote and awe-inspiring landscapes. This year, we go deeper — with more grounding, more intention, and more space to reconnect.

Held in the raw beauty of Svalbard, this 6-day journey weaves together grounding yoga practices, nourishing meals, and mindful Arctic adventures. We’ll snowmobile across glaciers, move slowly through vast white tundra, and hike toward an ancient ice cave that holds the memory of time itself.

Each morning begins with breath, movement, and stillness — from restorative and vinyasa yoga to a new Awakening Ritual: a hand-whisked matcha to greet the day with presence. Out in the wilderness, we pause for sound healing beneath open sky, letting silence do its own quiet work.

Evenings bring warmth and restoration: sauna heat, cold plunges, grounding reflection, and the quiet wonder of northern lights above — chased by snowmobile on our final days together, before a closing tea ceremony and sharing circle.

This retreat is an invitation to balance the thrill of the wild with the steadiness of inner calm — to arrive fully, breathe deeply, and remember what it feels like to be part of something greater.

Early bird access is open now, and it stays open only until 15 November, 2026. After that, pricing shifts and spots may be gone.

If you were with us for Arctic Awakening 1.0, you already know what this journey holds. If you weren’t, we hope this is the year you join us. 🤍

A collaboration the world’s northernmost town didn’t know it needed: for the first time, clay and yoga come together in Longyearbyen.

The light is already thinning. In a few weeks, Longyearbyen tips into polar night, and this weekend is built to meet it grounded.

Two intentional days with Ahyeong & Aztrid: hand-build your own tea cup, move through 90 minutes of yoga, share a brunch, then gather again a few weeks later for tea, journaling, and a sharing circle — space to set your intention for the dark months ahead.

Dates: 19th September & 3rd October

Moving Through the Dark workshop with Maaike Weerdesteijn & 아영 ☼ Ahyeong is back.

Last year’s Running and Yoga workshop was one of our favorites, so we’re bringing it back. Consider this 2.0.

This time, Maaike is leading a trail run up Lindholmhøgda (yes, the same Maaike who is a geophysicist by day and a Dutch national team trail runner by night), and Ahyeong is closing it out with recovery yoga at Soul Peak Studio.

Swipe through for all the details. All levels welcome, no experience needed, just curiosity, good energy, and a pair of trail shoes.

This workshop is fueled by Tailwind Nutrition Norge on the trail and by Soul Peak Studio | Svalbard afterward, with tea themed snacks waiting for you at the end.

𖦹 Date: Saturday, 12 September
𖦹 Time: 10:00 to 13:00
𖦹 Locations: Lindholmhøgda, then Soul Peak Studio

Mark your date. Can’t wait to move together 👟🕉️
