When I developed the B-9 NH, the original plan was to build a limited series of 100 bicycles. In the end, only three frame sets were made.

No. 1 and No. 2 were completed, photographed, exhibited and ridden extensively.

But No. 3 was never painted or assembled.

I kept all the components for the complete bicycle, and after all these years I have decided that it should finally be finished, for one future owner.

The colours, graphics and final specification can be created individually. And because of the large flat surfaces of the B-9 NH, there is another possibility: to give the bicycle to an artist as a blank canvas and create a unique piece of rideable art.

Interestingly, this brings the project back to one of my original ideas. After the planned production series, I wanted to make ten completely white B-9 NH bicycles and invite artists to transform each of them into a unique artwork. That idea was never realised.

Maybe No. 3 is the opportunity to finally create one.

I built my first e-bike in cooperation with Drehmoment-Bikes GmbH who supplied me with the Vivax assist motor. For this flat bar gravel e-bike, the classic carbon B8 frame is used, the motor is hidden in the seat tube, custom-made Li-ion battery pack 7,14 Ah (211 Wh) is placed in the whole length of the down tube while the battery electronics is located in the top tube and the motor control unit in the seat post. I also made the front light and the internal cable routing.

The weight of the whole bike is 11,46 kg. The bicycle was built just as an experiment and for fun with no plans for further production.

One of just three B-9 NH Urban Stealth bicycles I built, now exhibited at the 'Bike to the Future' exhibition in the Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA).
