No one , including all categories of women's and men's soccer, has participated in more World Cups than Miraildes Mota “Formiga” (7) in the entire history of soccer.

45 years Formiga first played for the Brazil national team at the age of 17, as part of the squad for the 1995 FIFA Women's World Cup, playing as a substitute. The following year, during the inaugural tournament for women's football at the 1996 Summer Olympics, she became a regular starter in the Brazilian team.

In 2019 Miraildes Maciel Mota, better known as Ant, played her seventh World Cup, following his participation in 1995, 1999, 2003, 2007, 2011 and 2015. An absolute legend with historical record.

On 26 November 2021, Formiga played her last match for Brazil in their 6–1 win over India at the 2021 International Women's Football Tournament of Manaus, as she officially retired from the national team.
