🌍🎉 GLOBAL DAY OF PLAY 2026 | SIERRA LEONE 🇸🇱
What happens when we make time to play?
Today, we found out. ❤️
As part of Global Day of Play 2026, we brought children, young people and community members together for a day filled with laughter, movement, connection and, most importantly, PLAY! 🎉
Our celebration featured three exciting activities:
🔥 MINGLE MINGLE — breaking the ice, meeting new people, creating friendships and showing us that play can bring people together.
💪🏾 LAST MAN STANDING — a fun challenge of movement, focus, determination and resilience, with plenty of laughter and cheering along the way
🏃♂️ THE MOVING TRAIN - a playful physical activity that combines running with teamwork
But today was about more than just games
It was about creating a space where people could laugh, learn, connect and create memories through the power of play.

🎥 We recorded the laughter and action.
💬 We shared experiences and reflections.
🌍 And now, we're sharing our story with our community and the world.
Because whether play happens in a school, community centre, sports field, park, beach or any other open space, every celebration is part of something much bigger — a global movement that believes play can create opportunities for learning, belonging, wellbeing and positive change.
Today, Sierra Leone played. 🇸🇱🌍
And our message is simple:
Don't just play today. Make time to play every day. ❤️
