Apama Brace Helps Tigers to Win Over Regent Olympics

East End Tigers defeated Regent Olympics at the ongoing Western Area football division one league by 2-1 on Thursday.

Regent Olympics took the lead through an own goal by Mohamed Osman Kamara of Tigers in the 14th- minute of play in the first half.

After the break, our head coach Mohamed P Jalloh made three changes bringing in David Koroma, Jeremiah Marah and Sufian Adams.

These moves increase the Tigers' intensity as we mount pressure on the Regentonians.

Fifteen minutes after the break, Ibrahim Apama Kargbo heads in our equaliser from a set-piece cross by David Koroma.

We got our second with Kargbo's brace as we turned out to be the match-winning goal.

Speaking to Kargbo after the contest, he praised the team's spirit.

"We have trained a lot and went behind too early. We lifted ourselves and went for it.

Coach Jalloh mentioned that - the changes helped us. We have worked as a unit and we deserve the win. We look up to the next match, he concluded.

The late Mrs. Elizabeth Hanna Pratt Lewis, fondly called Aunty Balu.
