South Sudan U-17 League 2024/25 Al Amal Sports Academy Performance Rating: First 10 Matches

The team pulled off a great comeback after a poor start to the 2024/25 League.

The first 5 matches were difficult with 2 wins and 3 losses leaving the side in 8th place out of 11 teams on just 6 points.

Everything changed after reaching matches 6 to 10. the squad responded with real character, going unbeaten with 4 wins and 1 draw. That run earned 13 points from a possible 15 and launched the team from 8th all the way up to 2nd place. In attack, finishing improved sharply with wingers and strikers finally converting chances created. Set pieces became a consistent weapon and the boys mentality in closing out games was transformed.

After 10 matches, the record stood at 6 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses for 19 points. From a poor start, the team showed resilience, tactical discipline and belief to mount a great comeback and establish themselves as genuine contenders.
