My opinion and analysis of team AL Wahida fc first two games so far in the South Sudan national cup.

Team AL Wahida has the potential and ability to do better because in every departments in the team they have got players who can deliver.
let me begin in the goal post.

1. Goalkeeper

For the past two games Alison Dumuku produced good display but there few moments he needed to do better. like catching the ball once and also have good communication with his defenders.

2. Defensive department

So far the two games of AL Wahida fc the defenders have been outstanding credit has to be given to them however they should keep on and improve in their confidence.
Individual defenders like Sam, Edmond Mbongu have shown value in that defence, Dinho, Denis also have proven that they can do better despite their young age but there few things still need to improve in their game most especially their confidence and marking of the opponents.

3. On the midfielders
AL Wahida fc biggest problem comes from the midfield, they have struggled to keep the midfield compact and that’s where their opponents gets their chances to pe*****te.
One thing I have noticed is the combination of Saba Yogoti and Emma is not working because the two players are all defensive minded players so the link between them and the forwards is not there, they need to coordinate with the number 10.

Another thing is AL Wahida lacks a number 10 who can link the midfielder and the strikers, they have struggled. In first game Wonex played at number 10 but he didn’t produced Or perform to his best like the Wonex we know .
In the second game Dani played at number 10 he didn’t perform to his best I think due to his long term injury so I think it will be good we see Richboy in that position in the next game or bring in Sam up front And take Dk back to partner with Mbongu.

On the strikers

The forwards in the first game did not do enough and couldn’t get shoots on targets but in the second game they had glorious chances that they didn’t utilise and it made them to go for penalties.
But thanks to them for scoring those two most important and valuable goals that help the team to get a spot in the round 16. And still credit has to be given to them coz they were a threat to the defenders of their opponents.

On the couches
Keep on the good work you’re doing but improve in your ability to read game and know where, who to substitute at what time.

My recommendation
What AL Wahida should do before there next game is to find a solution to the midfield partnership, let them try Richboy at that number 10 position coz it’s one thing that’s missing now and the partnership of Yogoti and Emma, We need players like Wonex to get butto their form coz he looks off form/ unfit

Third Phase of Gbudue Stadium Cleaning and Fundraising for Al Wahida Confirmed.

The third phase of the Gbudue Stadium cleaning exercise has been officially confirmed to take place tomorrow morning at 6:00 AM, the 22nd November 2025 under the initiative introduced by the Deputy Governor H.E Justin Joseph morona.

This move highlights the growing commitment of leadership to improving sports infrastructure and promoting unity through sports.

The Deputy Governor Morona, has called upon all football teams, government officials, organized forces, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to actively take part in the exercise.

In addition to the cleaning campaign, a fundraising activity will be held in support of Al Wahida FC, the champions of the South Sudan cup. This gesture is widely seen as a morale boost for the club and a recognition of their outstanding performance.

If well supported, both the cleaning exercise and the fundraising initiative could mark a turning point for sports development in Yambio, setting a strong foundation for future competitions and talent growth.

Paris St-Germain's Ousmane Dembele won his first Ballon d'Or as the French treble winners came away with several of the key men's awards at the Paris ceremony.

The 28-year-old France forward scored 35 goals and made 14 assists in 53 matches for PSG last season as they won the Champions League, league title and the French Cup.

He was the joint top scorer in Ligue 1, with 21 goals, and named the French top flight and Champions League player of the year.

This is what Dembele had to say:
"What I have just experienced is exceptional, I have no words for it, what happened with PSG," said an emotional Dembele, whose mother joined him on the stage.

"I feel a bit of stress, it's not easy to win this trophy, and to have it presented to me by Ronaldinho, a legend of football, is exceptional.

"I want to thank PSG who came to get me in 2023. It's an incredible family. The president Nasser [Al-Khelaifi] is like a father to me. I also want to thank all the staff and the coach, who have been exceptional with me - he too is like a father - and all my team-mates.

"We have practically won everything together. You supported me in the good and the difficult times. This individual trophy is one the team has won collectively."
