Dear fans,Supporters, and everyone who stands with Awerial County Football Team,
We know how much this hurts, and we feel that disappointment right alongside you. That’s the harsh reality of football you win some, you learn from some, and sometimes you just fall short. We didn't head into the Bhar el Ghazal Counties Tournament planning for an early exit. We went in with one goal: to fight hard, represent our home, and carry the name of Awerial County with absolute pride.
As President of the Team, I’ve taken a hard look at where we slipped up. This tournament gave us a clear picture of what needs fixing. We are taking those lessons to heart, fixing our weak spots, and building a stronger, far more competitive squad for the future.
To our supporters: you are the heart of this team. You’re the reason Awerial made such a strong impression across the region. Every bit of financial, moral, and emotional backing you gave us meant the world. Rest assured, your support was honored, and the team carried themselves with dignity and respect every step of the way.
I also want to give credit to our players and travelling fans. Throughout the tournament, everyone showed incredible discipline and maturity, representing our county without a single issue.
To every single person who backed us whether you were shouting in the stands, following online, supporting behind the scenes, or keeping us in your prayers thank you.
This isn't where our story ends. It’s just fuel for the fire and a stepping stone for what comes next. We will be back better prepared, stronger, and hungrier than ever.
Awerial today. Awerial tomorrow. Awerial always. -The Resisters-💪
Warmly,
Jacob Nyuoth Tiir Patic
President, Awerial County Football Team
