𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐈𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐞: 𝟏𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

The 𝐘𝐞𝐢 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, through its Organizing Committee, convened a disciplinary meeting following the unfortunate incident that occurred during the league match between 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 and 𝐀𝐭𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛, played on 17th December 2025.

After a comprehensive review of the Referee’s Match Report, eyewitness accounts, and available video evidence, the Committee established that acts of misconduct and physical assault by some players of Easter FC led to disorder and chaos, making it impossible for the match to continue, as officially recorded by the match officials.

In accordance with 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝟕𝟖 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐒𝐅𝐀 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 )𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟗 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓), the YFA Organizing Committee has issued the following decisions:

🔴 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐈𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐃𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒
1. The following players of Easter Football Club are hereby suspended from all football-related activities for a period of one )𝟏) 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫, 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝟏𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓:
• Joseph Aluong – Forward
• James Wani – Goalkeeper
2. The Match Officials (Referee and Assistant Referees) have been placed under disciplinary investigation for:
• Failure to issue appropriate cautions or dismissals to players involved in misconduct.
• Failure to exercise effective match control in line with the Laws of the Game and SSFA Regulations.

A separate disciplinary hearing will be convened by the Referees Committee of the Yei Football Association to determine any appropriate sanctions against the match officials.

Easter Football Club is strongly advised to take all necessary measures to instill discipline among its players, officials, and supporters in order to safeguard the integrity, safety, and smooth conduct of football activities within the Association.
