Today marks the official launch of the 8th Imbube Marathon, setting the stage for Eswatini’s premier road race scheduled for 17 October 2026 at the Somhlolo National Stadium.

This year’s edition goes beyond sport. It stands as a national movement, uniting fitness, unity, Royal legacy, and the spirit of Eswatini’s Ruby Jubilee celebrations.

From elite athletes to everyday emaSwati, the People’s Race once again brings the nation onto a single road, reflecting discipline, health, resilience, and shared national progress.

Now gaining international momentum, the Imbube Marathon continues to strengthen Eswatini’s presence on the global sporting stage, proudly emerging as the nation’s defining identity in road running, “The Bushfire of Running.”
