The King’s Cup is Eswatini’s premier golf tournament, bringing together professionals and amateurs from across Southern Africa. This year’s event carries a sponsorship package of E3.1 million, with the champion professional taking home E240 000 and the runner-up earning E164 350. The amateur champion will win E24 000. His Majesty King Mswati III, patron of the tournament, encouraged local golfers to rise to the occasion and even go for the E600 000 hole-in-one prize.

Sixteen Eswatini golfers have made it to the final round of the 2025 King’s Cup at Ezulwini Golf and Country Club. Leading the local professionals is James Pennington at 3-under par, joined by Sifiso Vilane, Jabulani Mabaso, Oscar Dube and Mandla Dlamini Jnr.
South Africa’s Hayden Griffiths and Keenan Davidse top the overall leaderboard at 7-under par as they both chase a second King’s Cup title. Among the amateurs, Vusi Godfrey Dlamini remains the top local on 3-over par, followed closely by Machawe Maziya.
His Majesty King Mswati III officially opened the tournament at Lozitha Palace and encouraged local golfers to go for glory and the E600 000 hole-in-one prize. This year’s King’s Cup has a total prize pool of E3.1 million, with E240 000 for the champion professional and E24 000 for the top amateur.
