MAY BLITZ TOURNAMENT

The monthly blitz tournament brought together four determined players—CM Sikhanyiso, CM Mbongeni, Kwanele, and Buhle—for a double round robin battle under sharp 3+2 time controls.

Eswatini’s reigning champion proved unstoppable, walking away with the top prize of E150. CM Mbongeni followed with a strong performance to claim E100, while CM Sikhanyiso secured E50 for his efforts.

The event once again demonstrated the growing excitement around blitz chess . Players and fans alike are already looking forward to the June edition, which promises to be even bigger and better. The date is yet to be set, but anticipation is already building for another thrilling showdown.
