SOUTHERN AFRICA INTER-MUNICIPAL SPORTS ASSOCIATION (SAIMSA) Our goal is to have all SADC Countries participate in the games.
SAIMSA, the Southern Africa Inter-Municipal Sports Association was born in 2007 in Walvis Bay Namibia four years after the first games were held in Botswana. The sole purpose of the existence of the association is to promote municipal sport as a concept in the SADC Regions. Thank you so much ESIGA for hosting us. Team Managers came in large numbers from Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Namibia and South Africa to attend the 20th edition Team Managers meeting for SAIMSA 2026 Games which was held at Matsapha IDM, Eswatini.

SAIMSA held its General Assembly (GA) at Matsapha Town Council, Eswatini. The meeting was attended by delegates from ESIGA, IMSSA, LAHISA and NALASRA.
