🎾 TCI Tennis Academy is very proud of Akshara Naga for her strong performance at the 19th Annual “Little Mo” Internationals in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida 🇺🇸

Akshara faced a very tough draw and lost in the first round of the main draw after a hard-fought and competitive match. Showing great maturity and determination, she regrouped quickly and entered the consolation draw with a positive mindset.

💪 Akshara responded in the best way possible — fighting through each round and finishing 2nd place in the consolation draw, demonstrating resilience, confidence, and competitive spirit.

🏆 In doubles, Akshara continued her strong run, reaching the final and finishing 2nd place, gaining valuable experience competing at a high national level.

🌱 This tournament was an important step in Akshara’s development, proving that learning how to respond after adversity is a key part of becoming a complete athlete.

⭐️ April Andy, seeded #1 (UTR 5.45), showed outstanding consistency throughout the tournament:

✔️ R32: 6–3, 6–0
✔️ R16: 6–1, 6–0
✔️ Quarterfinals: 6–0, 6–2

🔥 In the semifinal, April dominated the first set 6–0, but after a tough referee call early in the second set, momentum shifted and the match was decided in a close 10-point tiebreak (10–7).

💪 April showed true champion mentality by bouncing back to defeat Mia Verlinich (USA) for 3rd place:
6–6 (7–5), 6–1 — one of the best matches of the tournament.

🧠 This tournament proved that elite tennis is technical, physical, and mental — and that’s where champions are made.

🚀 April will come back stronger.

Akshara had a fantastic weekend at the Little Mo Tournament in West Orange, New Jersey—finishing as Singles Runner-Up and taking home the Doubles Championship!

A right-handed player with a solid two-handed backhand, Akshara is known just as much for her hard work and daily training (1–2 hours on court) as for her big smile every time she steps onto the court.

She is proudly trained at TCI Tennis Academy by Jean-Guy Cossette, a former Canadian champion and peak performance tennis coach.

We are proud of Akshara’s achievements and excited to see what comes next on her tennis journey.
This version highlights her results first, then blends her personality and training background to make the post engaging and professional.
